I'm building a small house for us just out of town on my wife's land, more as a temporary stay spot while construction starts on the much more involved house.

Any tips on builders who can put up a concrete masonry type structure single story?

The idea is to have someplace to both stay, and store a lot while the other house gets built, as leaving the main one unattended is likely to result in some theft.

Went and got more supplies today at the local building supplies shop, -and appears to have been a wholesale replacement and training of staff.

New uniforms, and a noticeable management presence throughout the store, and most obvious, no "lingering" about on the mobile phones.

Guys in the loading dock area seem same though, took about 30 minutes to get out of there.
