Brit Expat & Thai Wife Caught nicking neighbours mattress & cash
PATTAYA: In what amounts to a really dumb move, a Brit Expat and his Thai wife were caught on CCTV stealing a neighbours bed, as well as about 126,000THB in cash. The victim had gone on a trip to Cambodia only to return and find his door ajar and the cash missing. A steep amount to leave in a rented room indeed. More details here on Bangkok Post.
Korat Gambling Den Raided in former BBQ joint
NAKHON RATCHASIMA: 45 men and women, as well as a paltry cash amount of 70,000 THB were hauled out of a Korat gambling den in the early hours. The suspects were playing dice and card games such as Hi-Lo but none admitted to organizing the affair. More here on Bangkok Post
Security Guard Wanted after fellow guard found murdered
SAMUT PRAKAN: A security guard is being sought in the gruesome murder of his colleage whom was discovered hacked to bits by a water treatment facility. The victim has reportedly been in a row with the suspect, Mr. Somchai, over his drinking on the job issues. When their supervisor could make contact with neither of them soon after, a search began and the body was found.
Koh Phangan Cave Man 2018 Checked
SURAT THANI: Local authorities visited a Thai local who lives in a cave on Ko Phangan to check for any untoward situation but found none. It appears Mr. Chatupoom Losiri discovered the old tin mine entrance some 7 months ago and moved in. Soon after he began posting Facebook pics including one of a naked foreigner lass. Flooding, Landslide in Kamala Phuket
PHUKET: Kamala Road was blocked and even Route 4233 had been taken out of operation temporarily due to flood and landslide damage. Motorists are advised to find other routes overland. As soon as the bridge in front of Wyndham resort is repairs officials expect traffic will be able to pass without jamming. The same applies to traffic in the Patong direction due to a large rock in the road. So far no fatalities have been reported. More on Phuket News.
